I learned about a website yesterday that I just have to share with you!
The website is called Meal Train.
My sweet dil and another wonderful young mom are in charge of the women's ministry at our church. Part of their responsibilities include getting volunteers to prepare meals for families who might be experiencing an illness or the birth of a new baby.
This is a time consuming and frustrating job and I know they make a lot of calls, pass around a lot of sign-up sheets, and end up preparing a lot of meals themselves, making sure that people have what they need.
Yuck.
I wouldn't want the job.
The girls learned about Meal Train and their lives are going to be easier! Check it out and see what you think.
I can imagine all kinds of scenarios where this service will come in handy.
What do you think?
With all the time that you save, you could play in your closet and come up with some great outfits like these.........

Do you like these outfits, girls? Looks like I am going to start the hunt for some non-holey boyfriend jeans!
Have a wonderful weekend!
if those girls would stop wasting money on cafe bought coffee, they could afford a decent pair of jeans.

What a blessing to have a dil who is so involved with the church and serving others. Thanks for sharing the website. I will definitely check it out. I think one of the nicest things that can be done for someone is providing a meal.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the outfits. My daughter and I are going shopping tomorrow....yippie!
Have a fabulous weekend!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the boyfriend jeans and want some too! I saw some really great looking ones...where was I ...Penney's! Not holey. I think I'm too heavy but you aren't!
ReplyDeleteI could not walk in those shoes but I LOVE that first shirt!
Nice ministry however you look at it...very helpful and very thoughtful.
Love the sunglasses. I'm dying for those shoes...I have major shoe envy...all the time, since I can't wear heels. I read yesterday where more and more families are eating at the churches , that fix warm meals for families in need. Sad.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI need to pass this website onto my mother. She heads up her churches giving meals. Thanks for sharing!
