Do This, Not That

Our weekend has been CRAZY busy, as I'm sure yours has been, so I'm just taking a moment today to share some links from my pinterest boards.

No.

I haven't actually tried any of these ideas yet, but I plan to someday. You know, transform a dream into reality.

Can I get a witness?

Blue Jean Hem Fix

We don't need to pay someone any more to shorten jeans so they retain the professional hem. Thanks refashionmama for the tutorial explaining how it is done.

How to hem jeans (or any pants), keeping the original hem. Best tip ever!! Very Coo! ~

The butler no longer has to polish the silver.

When we got married, my husband's parents bought us a complete set of silver plate flatware. It is just beautiful, but I don't use it because it always needs to be polished. Now that I know an easy way to take care of that problem, I vow to start using my good stuff. Susan Branch shows us how.

De-tarnish ALL your silver ALL at once... line your sink with aluminum foil, add 1/2 c table salt, 1/2 c. baking soda, fill with hot water, then dump in all your silver! Let sit for about 30 min. The tarnish all transfers to the foil! Thanks, Susan Branch!

Get creative and make your own cool sign.....

I love the vintage signs that are so popular now. I pinned this tutorial by lilblueboos that explains exactly how to make your own. What cute gifts these would make!
